Wonder Trade~

Well...I figured I should probably break the ice here and get a topic started. XD

So...anybody have any good wonder trade stories?

I guess my overall experience on there is basically:

1.) Put up moderately bad Pokemon and get really insanely good Pokemon in exchange. Cue the massive guilt fest. XD

2.) Breed really good Pokemon and put them up on WT so you don't feel that guilt ever again. Get all bad Pokemon.

3.) Get fed up with it and repeat steps 1-2. XD

Though, I have bred Timid Drought Vulpix w/ Hypnosis and Extrasensory. And Jolly Intimidate Growlithe with Morning Sun and Close Combat. They're also all infected with Pokerus and are holding Fire Stones~

...I'm going to trade them all off on WT tonight. Wish me luck!

I usually get really horrible Pokemon from Wonder Trade ^^'

Best things I get are Pokemon with good IVs, but I'm no Competitive Battler, lol.

I dabble into compettive play every now and then, but I'm a breeder at heart. XD

I think the trade that has gotten me the most amount of guilt so far was when I sent a fire monkey (Pansear) because I was cleaning out my boxes and got a beautiful adamant Skill Link Minccino in exchange, infected with Pokerus and holding a Tamato berry. ;~; So much guilt.

Hey, if someone sends you something good in exchange for a sucky thing, it`s a risk that they took.

Mm. XD I think there were better Pokemon floating around WT when Pkm X/Y were first released....now though, truly good Pokemon are rediculously hard to find. Like....almost as rare as finding a shiny. XD

Got a shiny Groudon once. I sent a Wobbuffet.

Also, I've never gotten a shiny or a legendary on WT, ever. XD You must have rediculous amounts of luck, Spotty. ^^

Now I don't know about that. That's the only thing that I've gotten that wasn't a Bidoof or Fletchling. xD

Ohh....well, I guess WT felt sorry for you and paired you up with the best trade available. XD

I like getting Scatterbugs, because they're so pretty when I evolve them into Vivillon. ^^

I've had a lot of guilty moments on WT- for instance, I've thrown in a Watchog and gotten a Zygarde, given a Bunnelby and got a level 100 Timid Xerneas, and given a Volbeat for a shiny Bibarel. Note that they weren't originally mine; I probably would have traded my IV bred Pokémon if I got the choice.

Yeah, whenver I get a guilt fest on WT, I try to contact that person and offer a trade so I can give them a good Pokemon. Usually they don't accept, but still, it was worth a try....^^;

I'm a bit of a coward, so I often retreat back into WT and start trading again. I could never trade again after taking something valuable for something terrible.

My steps for wonder trading are nearly the same as your's, Crystal. XD I breed pretty decent pokemon with their hidden abilities and then end up getting bad pokemon in return. Afterwards, I either release them or trade them off.

Yeah! Same here, though I am now hoarding ones that I would normally trade off, instead.

I really need to organize my boxes....XD

I didn't wonder trade for awhile yet because I am trying to hatch the eggs that I received. ^^; Once they all hatch though, I am going to go on a wonder trade spree. :3

I am a picky person so my boxes are sort of... organized.

Yeah....XD I have to wait until I transfer everything from Platinum to Black 2 to Y, though. It's going to be a pain...
