Competitive Battling

Hm...Maybe a status move? Like Toxic or Sleep Powder? It could prove to be useful for those annoying tanky Pokemon.

All right, thanks! I didn't think it would be too important with haf of my Pokemon having status moves, but perhaps I might try both variants and see which works better for me.

Ah, Frost, instead of U-Turn on your Heliolisk, I would suggest Volt Switch instead. It would be better since it's a special attacker, plus the stab damage will be good.

I thought U-Turn was a special attack. My bad.

Either way, I'm not too good at clearing through the Battle Maison, so I decided to go with a (previously) viable alternative.

Ah, right, I forgot Volt Switch was a battle Maison item. However, personally, I think it's worth it.

All right, thanks! Until then, though, I'll probably use Grass Knot for coverage against Ground-types. I checked, and it's a Special Attack.

Yeah, grass knot is sp atk. Though considering your team, you have plenty of grass moves, but it's good for a temp thing.

Yeah. Dark Pulse may work, too, but I'm not sure I have that TM. Oh well...

I made it my goal to find all tms I would definitely need at some point in time so yeah.

I think I've got the majority, but either way, there are a number I'm still missing.

Really? I didn't think he was too bad. At the very least, he knew to set up and all that.

Well I mean he wasted four turns in the beginning using Dragon Claw when he really had no reason to. It was odd.

That did strike me as odd, but I just put it down to him not knowing Bastiodon's defensive capabilities, and was stuck into Choice Scarf (just a theory).

At the very least, he was still quite a bit better than the majority of people I've faced.
